What is BBR Certified Black Business?
BBR Certified Black Business is the governing body that certifies black-owned businesses through due diligence to authenticate ownership. By registering your business and meeting the criteria, your company (if approved), will be registered and recognised as a Certified Black Business.

Why Do I Need To Certify My Business?
BBR Certification builds trust with your consumers, partners and investors by showcasing a vetted, high-quality business. The BBR Certification gives you a competitive edge to differentiate your business from others, attracting conscious consumers and corporate buyers. The BBR Certification connects you with other certified black-owned businesses and industry leaders for partnership and growth. BBR Certification provides visibility through exclusive directories, events and media exposure.
What Are The Benefits?
Firstly, it promotes group economic empowerment and encourages support for businesses and the Black community. By highlighting and promoting Black-owned businesses, it helps to increase their visibility, consumer base and overall success. A registration and certification authority for Black-owned businesses further strengthens this initiative. It provides formal recognition and verification of their status, which enhances credibility and trust. Certification can also help combat fraudulent claims of being a Black-owned business, ensuring that genuine Black business entrepreneurs receive the recognition and support they deserve.
